Lucky Santo opened January 2019. The North Ballard restaurant is owned & operated by Seattle native, Nikki DeGidio. Nutrient dense & whole food focused, Lucky Santo offers chef driven food for breakfast, lunch & dinner focusing on the vibrant produce & proteins the Pacific Northwest offers. Known mainly for their Celiac friendly menu, Lucky Santo also eschews most other grains in favor of flavor packed veggies and high quality protein, but also offers thoughtful vegan alternatives with most dishes. The smoothies at Lucky Santo are also stealthily veg heavy, with sweet potato and even cauliflower making an appearance.
Reservations are not accepted, but the counter-service casual vibe offers ample space for guests to enjoy a bottle of wine from the small but curated natural & low intervention selections, either by the glass or bottle. Retail wine sales are also available. Outdoor seating will be added Summer 2019, with a back patio that seats up to 20 people, and several sidewalk tables located at the front of the restaurant (morning smoothie time). Lucky Santo will also begin offering a grab-and-go selection of house favorites Summer 2019 for enjoying elsewhere.
